Who We Are

Betsy Rymes is Professor of Educational Linguistics at The University of Pennsylvania.  She is committed to finding the best ways to share collective grass-roots insights about language and she’s almost certain that this practice contributes to the world in positive ways. She hopes this Website will function as a modern-day digital version of the analog 1980’s ‘zines (homemade, zeroxed, paper magazines with contributions from all over the world)—fostering the creativity and collaborative genius of everyday people exploring language around them.
